Extension completed on schedule

Our new warehouse/logistics hall creates space for production and manufacturing areas and makes a significant contribution to sustainability.

After only around seven months of construction, the new hall was completed in October last year. The additional usable space of 733 m² increases the total area to 3,600 m² (including administrative and social areas). In addition, 33 parking spaces were redesigned and another double charging station for electric vehicles was created.

With the commissioning of the new, resource-efficient built warehouse, the relocation and reorganisation of internal logistics took place. Stock, supplies and materials that were previously distributed across various areas of the existing building are now centralised and managed in a space-saving manner. This creates space in the production areas to optimally reposition existing equipment and efficiently integrate future fully automated production projects.

The new building not only represents an infrastructural optimisation for us, but also demonstrates our commitment to sustainable corporate development. In addition to highly effective building insulation and a roof drainage system that is completely drained into the ground to support the local groundwater balance, the energy-optimised building concept also features underfloor heating that is fed entirely by waste heat from the production facilities.

In addition, a photovoltaic system was installed across all buildings, which provides an output of 239 kWp with 531 modules. This in-house power generation covers around 25% of the total energy requirement – a significant contribution to reducing operating costs and CO₂ emissions.

With the new infrastructure, a clear focus on sustainability and our comprehensive elastomer and injection moulding expertise, we consider ourselves well equipped for the years ahead.
